About Us
The MSU Residence Halls Association (RHA) is the on-campus student government at Michigan State University. Representing more than 14,000 students, MSU RHA is the largest Residence Halls Association in the country. MSU RHA remains dedicated to improving the on-campus living experience and providing services to students including Campus Center Cinemas, RHA TV, RHA Movie Offices and Condom Connection.

Our Mission
The mission of the Residence Halls Association is to represent the residents of Michigan State University objectively and to provide a voice for the concerns of our residents. We strive to achieve this by assisting hall organizations with publicity, legislation, funding, and also by providing valuable services and opportunities through our programs. Through these initiatives, RHA is committed to continuously improving the on-campus experience at Michigan State University.

No Frills 2012 Wrap-Up Report
RHA Movie Offices
RHA Movie Offices provide free DVD rentals to on-campus residents. Movie Offices are located in each of the residence hall complexes, and are open seven days a week.
Students may rent up to two movies at a time and keep them for two days. The Movie Offices house more than 1,000 titles to choose from.
Movie selections range from horror and romantic comedies to documentaries and different TV season collections.
Offices are open during the following hours:
Sunday through Wednesday: 6:30pm to 11:00pm
Thursday through Saturday: 5:00pm to 11:00pm

The RHA movie offices are located in five conventient locations across campus. Hours for individual movie offices dependent on location.
Special Events
RHA Special Events brings live entertainment to MSU students for free or greatly-reduced ticket prices. Concerts range across all musical genres, and are complimented by comedy shows, celebrity speakers and other live events.
Past events have included: Common, Death Cab for Cutie, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Kings of Leon, Lupe Fiasco, The All-American Rejects, Will Ferrell and many more. There is always something in the works for the next big show.

Karaoke
RHA offers karaoke equipment rentals to all RHA constituent groups, including hall governments. RHA will deliver karaoke equipment and provide staff for events based on availability.
The equipment offers a wide selection of music with more than 4,000 songs. Songs range from 1950s doo-wop to the current top 40 hits.

Karaoke equipment is only avaiable for rental by registered on-campus student organizations. A techinical assistant is avaiable for set-up and event support.
Campus Center Cinemas
Campus Center Cinemas transforms your lecture halls into movie theatres every Thursday-Sunday during fall and spring semesters.
Campus Center Cinemas provides free film screenings to undergraduate on-campus residents, and charges only $2 for all others. Campus Center brings recently-released movies to the big screen.
Campus Center Cinemas is brought to you in partnership with UAB.

UAB Events Movie Schedule
RHA Health & Safety
RHA provides free "Cold and Flu Packs" available in residence halls and at Olin Health Center. Packs contain common over-the-counter cold and flu medications for students.
RHA funds "Condom Connection," a service that works to provide free condoms to students through both mentors in the halls and at Olin Health Center. This service is intended to promote safe sexual practices by all students.
RHA Health and Safety puts on health-related programming throughout the year. Past programs include "Pimpology," a program dealing with sexual health, and "The Breaking Point," a program focusing on mental health.

RHA TV
RHA TV is broadcast on analog channels 11 & 12 and on digital channels 22.4 & 22.5 on all on-campus cable connections. RHA TV provides entertainment similar to a premium cable channel, but all for free. Programming includes popular movies and television shows that change on a regular basis.
RHA TV also features shows produced by student organizations such as the MSU Telecasters.
All RHA constituents and many other groups may advertise on RHA TV for free or low costs. Please contact the Director of RHA TV for more information.
