What is RHA? RHA (that’s short for the Residence Halls Association) is MSU’s on-campus student government. Ever been to a movie office or caught a weekend show at Wells Hall? That’s us. Ever used wireless network access in an residence halls? Us again. Ever been to a great concert on campus? Chances are that was us too. We're the ones who fund your hall’s government, and much more. RHA's Mission Statement The mission of the Residence Halls Association is to represent the residents of Michigan State University objectively and to provide a voice for the concerns of our residents. We strive to achieve this by assisting hall organizations with publicity, legislation, funding, and also by providing valuable services and opportunities through our programs. Through these initiatives, RHA is committed to continuously improving the on-campus experience at Michigan State University. What does RHA do? RHA is probably the most active student group on campus. We provide free movie rental offices, concerts, health and safety programs, free weekend theater-style movies, trips, special events, and much more. We also fund many student groups and caucuses on campus and lobby school administrators regarding student issues. Who belongs to RHA? Anyone living in a campus residence hall belongs to RHA. That means you, your roommate and all your friends who live in the halls. RHA is here to represent and entertain YOU! If you have a question or comment, shoot us an e-mail at rha@msu.edu or just call us at (517) 355-8285. |
